ADA Services
The library offers a variety of services for those library visitors that require special assistance.
- All Washington County
libraries provides a wide variety of library material
formats, including large print books and audio books
(including tape, CD, MP3, & Playaway formats) for patrons.
- Library staff at all
locations will provide assistance to access facilities or
assist visitors to find or obtain materials within the
library.
- The Barlow,
Beverly, and
Marietta locations have magnifying reader machines available
for visitors to use to read printed materials.
- The Belpre location has automatic doors for easy access. The
library is currently seeking funding for providing similar doors at all facilities.
- The Marietta location has an elevator for visitors at the
driveway entrance.
- The Marietta location has a Video Phone for the Hearing Impaired.
